This time of year visitors as well as locals look forward to the annual Downtown Billings Strawberry Festival.  It is here Saturday, June 13th.

One of the highlights of this year's Strawberry Festival in Downtown Billings will feature hot competition with a cold twist. On Saturday beginning at 2 p.m., Big Dipper Ice Cream will host its first ice cream eating contest under Sky Point, just a block away from its new shop at the corner of First and Broadway, formerly the Marcasa location...

Join the Downtown Billings Association this Saturday for the 24th Annual Strawberry Festival.

Now let me qualify my headline a little by saying that when I say "great" we're not talking 3 Michelin stars or the cuisine of Eric Ripert. We're talking about great street vendor and/or fair type food. I was most impressed by the diversity of the international spectrum of culinary offerings...

In case you didn't know already...I have a strawberry problem.  It's better now than when I was younger but that doesn't really mean a whole lot.  The Strawberrry Festival always makes it worse too, because I love them! I love them so much that when I was younger I was on the receiving end of a lot of grief!
