Bring your dogs to the pool! Sunday (8/21) from noon to 3 at the Rose Park Pool. It's just $4 per friendly dog. No humans in the pool, please. Altana will be there with its Ice Cream Bus and YVAS will join the fun too.

As we head into a little bit of a heatwave in the coming weeks here are some public swimming pools available for use to everyone

Yes, we know it's a nine hour drive to the ocean, but you'll find some great beach-like locations around Montana that are arguably better.

But for me it's more than the lake, it just reminds me of the times my kids and I would go there and have a great time.

One of my favorite parts about Billings in the past was how we had quite a large and busy water park on the West End. Why not have another one?

Honestly, this is a perfect Montana camping spot.

Does it scare any of you out there that health officials are telling people to shower BEFORE you get into the swimming pool?

I really need to take a trip to Crystal lake.  It's my favorite swimming hole and this time of year you can stand to get in the water.  Early in the season it's a bit brisk but it would be perfect now.  Maybe there are some near Red Lodge but I'm guessing those would be crowded now...
