While Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum have had a pretty rockin’ year when it comes to winning awards to add to their trophy cases, there’s one small group that has yet to voice their opinions. Now, kids are getting ready to speak out during Nickelodeon’s 25th annual Kids Choice Awards, where pint-sized fans offer up their top picks on everything from books to TV shows, cartoons and music. Swift and Lady A are among the country acts who received nods from the young population.

Swift got a double high five with two nominations, one for Favorite Female Singer and another for Favorite Song for her hit ‘Sparks Fly’. Lady Antebellum are up for Favorite Music Group against Big Time Rush, the Black Eyes Peas and LMFAO. Another country artist who made the cut was ‘Red Solo Cup’ hitmaker Toby Keith, who was nominated for Favorite Male singer alongside Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and Usher.

Kids will start casting their votes March 1 and the show itself will take place live in L.A. on March 31, hosted by none other than celebrity dad/actor/musician Will Smith. Nickelodeon will air the telecast as it happens so that kids across the nation can see if their favorites make it to the top — as well as who will get covered in green slime.

For Swift, this double seal of approval from the younger crowd is a good sign leading up to her debut in the Dr. Seuss film ‘The Lorax,’ where she’ll be the voice of a character named Audrey who falls for a boy named Ted, whose voice-over will be that of teen heartthrob Zac Efron. ‘The Lorax’ hits theaters March 2, giving it just enough time to win even more kids into the Swift camp while the voting is still going.
