Thanksgiving Traditions

Today's Flakes phone topic was your Thanksgiving holiday traditions.  For Mark, it's all about gorging yourself until you fall into a food coma on the couch.  If it's on his plate, he's gonna eat it...and he'll probably go back for seconds too.  Paul also likes to eat, but he doesn't have the capacity to keep up with Mark's prolific level of turkey consumption.

We heard from several listeners with interesting Turkey Day traditions.  One generous lady has several shut-ins who live in her neighborhood.  Every year, she picks them up and brings them to her house.  Then she prepares a two turkey feast.

Which is a whole tastier than the guy who called in to say that his family tradition is pretending to like his mom's terrible cooking.  Every year the bird is either dry or burnt.  He's learn to drench it in copious amounts of gravy and choke it down with a smile.  Whatever your Thanksgiving tradition it, we hope you and your family have a wonderful day.  Thanks for listening.
