Top 40 Country Songs for January 2017
The top songs at the end of 2017 may start on this list of the Top 40 Country Songs of January 2017. Last year Maren Morris' "My Church" started January at No. 40, and arguably ended the year as country music's biggest and best song.
Jake Owen has that spot this month, with the second single from his American Love album. The Chris Stapleton co-written "If He Ain't Gonna Love You" is infectious country funk that has the potential to be a big hit this year. There's a lot of space and dozens of artists between him and No. 1, however.
Our top five songs are similar to the top songs from last month. Little Big Town and Keith Urban once again battle it out for the best song of January. Both of their hits are hits on the radio and sales charts, plus critics and fans love them. Florida Georgia Line, Tim McGraw and Thomas Rhett also fare well on this month's top songs. 2017 will begin with a bunch of smash songs on country radio.
