Billings Roller Derby Dames Are Getting Back At It

The non-profit  Billings Roller Derby Dames have been nursing injuries and getting conditioned for the 2012 season, and the season is about to begin!   But first, a couple of fun fundraisers this weekend.BRDD is hosting their own Chili Feed at Bad Boys Cycles at 4188 State Avenue this Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.  Then on Saturday night, come join the dames at Cafe Rio at 2816 King Avenue West from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and try the “BR-Double-D Burrito”.  A dollar from each “BR-Double-D Burrito” sold goes to help fund the Billings Roller Derby Dames skating expenses this year.

The Billings Roller Derby Dames skate against Hel’z Belles Roller Derby Grrlz from Helena on March 24 at the Shrine.  Doors open at 6 p.m., the bout begins at 7.  BRDD is known for giving back to the community.  The upcoming bout on the 24th is in support of the Flying Panthers youth track league.  Listen for the Billings Roller Derby Dames on the morning show next Thursday, March 15!  You might win free tickets too!
