When the Montana Fair comes to town we get a weekend off at the Billings Motorsports Park. Racing will resume next weekend August 20th with Late Models, Modified and Super Stock classes. As always showtime is 7pm at the 16 mile marker on the road to Roundup...

You know the Montana Fair is in town soon when you see the two giant poles that is part of the slingshot that makes you wet your pants. You also know it is Montana Fair time when every truck on the road is being driven by a guy with a ten gallon hat and pulling a horse trailer...

Well it was chainlink fence and they installed all of it in one day barbed wire on top and all. I am pretty sure it's not a new jail (barbed wire and all) so I am still believing that it is going to be storage sheds. I would sure think they would have put up whatever it is going to be before they put up the fence...

Well I told you I would keep you updated. A truck came by and dropped off a trailer of what looked to be chain link fence. I am not sure but I think that is what it was. All the poles are set in concrete but I would think they would build whatever before they put up the fence...

Well this was  one of the weekends when I am not at the BMP because I am at the BMC. I was happy for my friend Todd Teyler as he was the winner of the old guys ride the 40+ class. What a show he put on over the weekend. Todd showed the young guys how it was done with a back flip on the hill as well...

Well most guys are the fixer in the family but not always! As it is at my house my Wifey is a better fixer than I am on most things. This gal is Andrea Montague and she is the elevator fix it lady. She has a helper but she does all the heavy lifting and is the one in the shaft putting in the new elevators...

A Wing Ding is a Honda Gold Wing event where they come to your town and have a large party.  I mean a large party the last few times they were in Billings it was a great thing for the city. Hondas everywhere even all over the Metra grounds...

Racing this Saturday at the BMP will have A Mods, Midwest Mods and Superstocks. If you missed the Sprint Cars and Late Models last weekend you missed a great show. The track was taking rubber so at intermission Mike disked the track. That saved the racers a ton in tire money and we didn't have a one groove track...

Here not to long ago the Wifey and I were out for a ride. It was a hot day 100 degrees my air gage on the bike was reading 105. I'm not even sure where we were at when she took this picture but I thought it was pretty cool so I thought I would share it with everyone...
