Coca-Cola is Good for More Than Just Drinking!

For many of us, Coca-Cola is a refreshing soft drink.  But did you know there is a lot you can do with a fizzy high fructose corn syrup?

There are upwards of 40 unusual uses for Coca-Cola that you can find at onlinedegree.net, but here are a few of my favorites!

• First.. you can use it on your hair!  Use Coca-Cola as an alternative conditioner to de-gunk your hair and boost it’s shine.  Coca-Cola also removes gum! If gum gets stuck in your hair, soak your strands in a bowl of Coca-Cola for a few minutes and you can pull the gum out.

• Coca-Cola can also be used to clean corroded metal.  MythBusters proved that you can use cola to clean a penny, by removing grime and leaving a lovely shine.  Coca-Cola will also make your chrome sparkle.  Pour soda over the rusty area then use aluminum foil to buff out the blemishes!

• Here’s one I would have not thought of.  You can use Coca-Cola to create a super secret lawn tonic to make your grass extra gorgeous.  This technique involves a strange combination of soda, beer, dishwashing soap, ammonia and mouthwash.  Sounds weird, but apparently it works!

• It also works to clean burnt pans.  For tough, caked on messes and burnt pots or pans, pour a can of Coke into the dirty pan until it reaches the top of the stain line,  bring it to a boil and let simmer for 15 minutes then wash the grime off.
