'Wagon Wheel' singer Darius Rucker is booked to appear on ABC's hit show 'The Bachelorette,' but the 47-year-old country star isn't expecting to get the final rose. In fact, Rucker won't be at all vying for the attention of bachelorette Desiree Hartsock -- he'll actually be doing what he does best: performing.

According to the CMIL, in the episode the cast and crew of the show will head from Los Angeles, Calif. to Atlantic City, NJ, where Hartsock takes one of her dates to an area that was devastated by Hurricane Sandy. There, she will meet victims of the storm and also be treated to a surprise performance by the country star.

Rucker, who recently rocked at the prestigious Red Rocks Ampitheatre, isn't the first country crooner to serenade couples on 'The Bachelorette' or 'The Bachelor.' Luke BryanGloriana, and Sarah Darling have all performed on the ever-dramatic and extremely competitive dating reality shows.

Rucker is currently headlining his 2013 True Believers Tour with fellow country singers Rodney Atkins, Justin Moore and Jana Kramer opening. If you want to see the former Hootie & the Blowfish member on 'The Bachelorette,' you can catch Rucker Monday, June 17 at 9PM ET on ABC.
