Actor and musician Dennis Quaid is set to headline a fundraising concert for ZooMontana this spring.

The Billings Gazette reports that the zoo’s WinterFest is scheduled for March 24 at the Babcock Theatre.

Quaid has appeared in more than 70 films and television shows, and sings and plays guitar.  He combined acting and music when he played Jerry Lee Lewis in the 1989 movie “Great Balls of Fire.”

Quaid’s film credits also include “The Rookie,” “The Day After Tomorrow,” and “Soul Surfer.”

A ZooMontana press release quotes Quaid as saying he makes “a complete and utter fool” of himself while making the performance fun for the audience and the band.

Dan Page and the Barn Cats along with Wally Kurth of Kurth, Taylor and McCormack will also perform.

General admission tickets are $58 and VIP tickets, which include a dinner, a silent auction reserved seats and an after show party, are $138.
