A 38-year old Massachusetts man was persistent in his efforts to trespass at Taylor Swift's Rhode Island mansion, but thankfully, he's since been ordered to stay away from the 24-year-old songstress.

Daniel Cole of Brewster, Mass. allegedly trespassed on the star's property numerous times. Westerly police say on Dec. 9, Cole blocked the driveway to Swift’s home with his pickup truck and was promptly escorted off the property. However, he just couldn't stay away. Officials say Cole returned Dec. 21 and struggled with police, refusing to leave.

He was summoned before a state judge Friday (March 21) because of his ignorance of previous warnings to avoid Swift's Watch Hill home, and pleaded not guilty to trespassing and disorderly conduct charges.

The judge issued a no contact order and released Cole on personal recognizance.

This isn't the first time trespassers have been nabbed trying to make contact with Swift. A man was arrested in Nashville for trying to break into her home and spend her birthday with her, which led to his to being booked, jailed and held on a $10,000 bond. Another fan from Chicago took a chilly route to Swift's Rhode Island home, swimming up to the mansion before being detained by police.

It's clear that Swift, who is up for 2014 ACM Entertainer of the Year, has her share of admirers, although some are more ... uh, dedicated ... than others.

“I get nervous when I have stalker incidents,” Swift admits. “I try not to talk too much about it because it scares me. Sometimes you get a dude who kind of wants to steal you. That’s why I’m so grateful I have people looking after me, like [my bodyguard] Dennis.”
