Medical Marijuana Card Holders Can’t Buy Guns

"Come on in with Jack on your breath, and a case of Busch Light in the car, and we'll pony up every damn gun in the store, Cowboy. Get that damned Hippie outta here!"

That's the post from one of my Facebook friends page today, when they heard the news that you can't buy firearms if you hold a medical marijuana card. And? I'm not seeing the problem with it.

I know a little bit about more about guns and guns laws than this person and I've never seen anybody sell a gun to anybody intoxicated. It just doesn't happen.

The argument from these types of people is that being high on pot is no different than being drunk. I disagree, but they won't care.

I will never understand these people who have been smoking pot for decades regardless of what the law said about their beloved substance.

No high people with guns. Good law.
