Miranda Lambert‘s dog rescuing habit is getting out of control. It’s obvious that the ‘Over You’ hitmaker has a soft heart for all things furry, but we’re wondering how many dogs she can take care of — or at least, where Blake Shelton will draw the line. For her latest rescue effort, the sweet songstress rescued an adorable tan puppy from a ditch. It’s hard to blame her for picking up this adorable girl, though, as she would be too cute for anyone to pass up!

“Um….new addition. Emmy Lou!” Lambert tweeted, acknowledging her ‘problem.’ “Ok ok I know I need to stop. But she was in a ditch!”

We’re starting to see a trend in Lambert’s choice of names, too. Earlier this month, she picked up a sweet black dog and named her Loretta, presumably after the iconic ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter’ singer. This week, it looks like she’s giving Emmy Lou Harris a nod by making her the namesake of this adorable puppy. Before Loretta, Lambert rescued a pup that is all white except for its black face and ears. That one was dubbed Batman because it looks a lot like the comic book superhero.

In a chat with In Touch recently, Mr. Miranda Lambert (that’s what we like to call Blake) admitted that the animal-loving couple has rescued more than 20 dogs, in addition to a few cats and horses. Obviously, the iconic pair has so many animals to take care of right now that they aren’t even thinking about human babies. But Shelton told the magazine that if his wife is as good with kids as she is with her furry friends, she’ll be an awesome mom.

For now, it looks like Lambert is focused on two things: Promoting her busy music career and rescuing homeless animals. And it doesn’t sound like her country music star friends are discouraging her habit!

After Lambert shared the photo of Emmy Lou (the pup, not the singer), Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott responded by writing, “@Miranda_Lambert what a precious angel!!!! She’s definitely a keeper! Love u!” Scott and her husband have a fur baby of their own — Lady A’s awesome pup mascot, Hobbs.

It sounds like Emmy Lou has found a great home with lots of other pups to play with. Lucky girl!
