My Afternoon At The Jobs Jamboree

I just wanted to say thank you to the organizers of today's Jobs Jamboree at Metra Park. They asked me to do a presentation about careers in radio. Most people aren't brave enough to hand me a microphone and say "here, talk about radio" because, as my wife can tell you, they'll have to pry that mic from my cold, dead hands. If she's reading this she's rolling her eyes right now.

I talked about how exciting our business is becoming. It used to be we were just radio stations but now our brands have extended to the internet and mobile devices. Ten years ago I didn't have the opportunity to do a blog like this one and now I can express myself in ways that are difficult over the 10 second intro of a song.
