National politics take center stage this Wednesday when Democratic presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders, holds a rally at Metrapark. No matter where you stand politically, I hope that you at least watch it on TV; or better yet, take your kids to it so that they remember it.

My folks didn't think that kids should worry about who was running for any office so they didn't talk to us about who they voted for and why. By attending this rally, your kids will take more of an interest of the real world and possibly form some of their own political opinions and not just believe everything that they are indoctrinated with in school.

I still talk to folks from Great Falls who remember when Kennedy visited in 63, shortly before he was assassinated.
