Possible Rehberg Senate Campaign Shakes Up MT Political Landscape

Well, things are certainly heating up in Montana politics. Congressman Rehberg will join Radio Ray tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. Please leave a comment if you want Ray to ask a specific question.

BILLINGS - It looks like Montanans could witness one of the most contentious races in the country, right here in the Treasure State. On Monday, two major political Web sites, Roll.com and Politico.com reported that Congressman Denny Rehberg, R - MT, would challenge Senator Jon Tester, D - MT, for the Senate seat in 2012.

The Congressman was on our sister station KRTV's morning show Tuesday and had this to say, "I'm just not ready to make a statement yet. I'm still making phone calls, traveling around Montana, visiting with people. We hope to have some kind of decision announced on Saturday."
