Reba McEntire is getting into the spirit of Halloween. The country superstar shared several photos to her Facebook account on Friday (Oct. 31).

In the caption, the legend took a moment to remember her dad, who passed away last week after a long illness.

"Halloween was daddy's favorite holiday!" writes McEntire. "He loved to pull pranks over at Ray and Ruby's house. It was always fun for us kids too. Love and miss you daddy."

The flame-haired singer seems to be feeling nostalgic. From the sound of another post, her father's memorial service may have been Friday. "Daddy's service was filled with love from family and friends," she says. "Lots of great pictures, video, giggles, memories, laughter and tears. He would have loved it!"

The 'Pray for Peace' singer also gave fans another retro look at a Halloween past with her husband, with the hashtag #tbt #throwbackthursday -- although, as several fans pointed out, it's actually Friday. But hey, how often do you get to see Reba McEntire dressed as Cleopatra?
