Cats

It looks as if that obesity epidemic that America finds itself in has spread to the feline population. Perhaps our FLOTUS can tackle that next, but until she does, we'll settle for this news anchor's giggling coverage.

We have no idea why, but animals are like, super talented when it comes to photography. Remember how they're master photobombers? That's just the beginning. Even though their talent is slightly greater than that of us humans, there are zero complaints on our end, because the result is always entertaining, adorable, strangely hilarious or all of the above.

The public has spoken and Monopoly will cast away the boring old iron token, a symbol of domestic housework from a simpler time (it's not even an electric iron), which has been included in the board game for almost 80 years. In its place will be a cat. Hey, are you really that surprised? The internet loves cats.

There's no sense in denying cats can be a little sassy from time to time, simply because they're not afraid to make it totally obvious they hate something. Costumes? Check. Reindeer antlers? Double check. Their 'tude doesn't make them any less adorable, though! It's sort of charming, actually.

We suspect this video is supposed to be cute. It is not cute. It is terrifying. Cats are not to be trusted. Sometimes you can pet them. Sometimes they try to rip your flesh off with their angry, sharp claws. Why would you want to imagine a world in which they can control things with their minds...

We first introduced you to the phenomenon that is dogs with eyebrows a few weeks back. It's hilarious stuff for the simple reason that animals just don't belong with human 'brows. But while they might not belong together, animals sporting little forehead caterpillars is straight up hysterical.

Usually by mid-January we're all sick of snow, but it's magically fun again after seeing it through the eyes of a critter who's never set foot in snow before.

Let's just admit the internet exists for cats. Not scientific research. Cats. Fortunately for us, 13 of the internet's most famous cats are teaming up ... to raise money for charity. We know -- we were a little concerned it might be a "kill all the humans"-style takeover of Earth too. We're getting off easy this time -- all they want us to do is buy a deck of cards!

As far as hats go, you really can't beat a sombrero. It screams "party" and announces to the world that you're a mellow dude who probably plays a mean guitar in a mariachi band. But when you put a sombrero on an animal, that's when the magic happens...

All good things must come to an end, and so it is with the 2012 TheFW Awards. Reigning supreme in Best Cat Video, the most important category (according to some) is Henri the Existential Cat. Once you watch the video it's pretty obvious why.

Cats are obviously cute, but kitties can also be feisty little buggers. Truthfully, we can't really blame them given the fact that they're forced to dress up in chic couture and submit themselves to our crazy holiday antics. Come on, it's all in good fun! But now those felines are ready to fight back with-- wait for it-- karate.

Technology can be really confusing sometimes. Take the Roomba, for example. It's a vacuum that basically does all the work on its own, cleaning the floor at the click of a button. While we're not entirely sure how the whole thing works, there is one hilarious thing that comes out of the invention-- babies and cats love riding them.
