Chiwetel Ejiofor

Chiwetel Ejiofor wowed audiences with his stirring and hard-to-watch performance in Steve McQueen's Oscar-winning '12 Years a Slave,' and now, naturally, he's on multiple studios' radars for major upcoming films. While he's previously been rumored to be up for 'Star Wars: Episode 7,' word is he's now being eyed to play the new James Bond villain in the upcoming 'Bond 24.'

On its own, 'Triple Nine' doesn't offer audiences much intrigue. A heist thriller? Where's the hook? Well, the hook is apparently the illustrious cast, which already includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Casey Affleck and Kate Winslet. But now a bushel of stars are in the process of joining, as well, all of who are hotly in demand.

And the 'Star Wars: Episode 7' news just keeps coming. The latest rumor: '12 Years a Slave' star and likely Oscar contender Chiwetel Ejiofor was at the Bad Robot offices, which means he might have met with J.J. Abrams about the new 'Star Wars' film. Which means we might see Ejiofor in the new 'Star Wars' movie. Maybe. We hope so!
