Earlier this morning Paul and I were talking about some of the things going on in town this week and happened to mention NILE. A few minutes later we got a call from someone I put in their own category.
I call them "Horse Gals".
And this special breed of person is all about their horses...

Summertime fun in Wyoming isn't limited to just seeing Yellowstone, The Tetons or Devils Tower there are many opportunities to watch the Wyoming State sport.
We had a bunch of great cowboy poets join us and share their music or their poems live on the radio. One nice couple that came up to our table not only shared the lyrics to one of their cowboy poetry songs, they also shared a photo that won 1st place at the Fergus County Fair!
First, let's talk about some of the best news out there- the World Famous Miles City Buckin' Horse Sale is a GO this year. We got that important reminder as we were chatting with our friends from the Montana Pro Rodeo Hall & Wall of Fame.
I was able to tag along with Montana's Congressman Matt Rosendale (R-MT) for a great visit to Horses Spirits Healing just north of Billings. Horses Spirits Healing is a great organization serving veterans, first responders, and their families with therapeutic programs featuring horses.
Check out this cattle brand that is coming up for auction later this month. It is a heart-shaped cattle brand that has been in one family all the way back since it was first registered in 1873. The brand was first registered to O.C. Whitney of Ennis, Montana on February 10, 1873.
