Now you can "visit" Mount Rushmore from the comfort of your own home!  Using 3D laser technology, the monument was scanned from top to bottom to create a complete digital model of the monument.  But does viewing the 3D model count as "visiting" the historic monument?  You can imagine what The Breakfast Flakes thought...

According to the memorial's director of interpretation and education, the model allows people to view unusual parts of the monument that are difficult to access, including the top of the monument and the Hall of Records behind the presidents' heads.

What do you think?  Would you be interested in viewing this 3D model, or would you rather make the trip out there?  Let us know in our poll!
