The NFL Draft Is Underway!

I've been a Rams fan since I knew what football was. When I lived in Havre as a 9 year old I bought a Rams helmet with white horns from 1972 because I was a huge fan of Roman Gabriel. The last few years have been tough because all hope has been pretty much washed away just a few games into each season.

But it's a new year and a new season begins in September and each year the NFL draft offers beleaguered fans like me new hope. This year is no different as my team has the number 2 and number 13 picks. I really want the best wide receiver in the draft, Sammy Watkins from Clemson but the rumor is they'll make a non-sexy pick like an offensive lineman. Boooooo. Regardless I'll try to find something positive about whomever they pick and hope they'll lead my team to the promised land. Hopefully your team will pick the player you're excited about.

As I write this Jadeveon Clowney was just made the first pick in the 2014 draft. Fingers crossed that Sammy Watkins is next. The Rams are on the clock... tick, tick, tick!
