This Aint’ No Club Med Card

I knew it was just a matter of time before I received this little ditty in the mail.  I've belonged to the fruit of the month club, the shoe club and event a hair care club, but this club is a little more ominous.

As you may recall just last week I turned the big 50 and AARP (formerly the American Association of Retired Persons) wasted no time reminding me that I am now eligible for Real Possibilities, or at least that is what it says here on the card.

As I am reading about the benefits of being an AARP member, I do like the fact that I can get discounts on hotels, car rentals, cruises, home security and cell phone service. That is just the tip of the iceberg.

I guess getting older does have its perks.

And the real reason I will join, I get this handy dandy, cool, free, yes free, insulated travel bag.  Score.
