This is the Day I’ve Dreaded, the Day My Wife and I Become Empty Nesters [Opinion]

I knew this day would come -- the day when my last child leaves home and heads to college.

I'm so proud of all my children but I have always dreaded this day. A new era for them and a new time for us.

It makes me think about how fast the time goes. We only get so much time on this earth and for whatever time I have left, hopefully another 40 plus years, I will forever be grateful for the joy that they have given me.
