Weird Wednesday Topic: If Life Was a Video Game, What Should You Get Bonus Points For?

Today's Weird Wednesday topic was interesting.  Mark and Paul opened up the phones and posed the question, "If life was a video game, what actions would you get bonus points for?"  As usual, Cat Country listeners called in with some great suggestions.

Several ladies called in to suggest they deserve bonus points for childbirth.  The general consensus is that each kid is worth more points than the last child.  Another gal added to that, suggesting that bonus points should be allotted for diaper changing and potty training.

We also heard from a man who helped raise his wife's children.  That guy definitely deserves bonus points for being a step dad.  Mark awarded him additional points because his stepson is afraid of him.

Another gal called in to suggest she deserves bonus points for calling a taxi cab after having a few too many cold ones at the bar. We also heard from a woman who thinks bonus points should be awarded for marriage and subtracted for divorce.  Unlike children, who would be worth more points for each one you have, marriages would be worth fewer bonus points for each one of those you have.  And after five, you no longer get points for marriage.

Finally, a loyal listener called in to suggest she deserves bonus points for putting up with Mark and Paul for 26 long years.  Frankly, there's not enough points in the game to reward that kind of patience.
