Why the Flakes Hate the New Bike Trail

A groundbreaking ceremony was held Monday August 9 for a new segment of Swords Park Trail.
According to the Billings Gazette, Michael Sanderson, president of the firm Sanderson-Stewart that designed and engineered the Swords Park Trail project, said his company’s stated “core purpose” is “to plan and design enduring communities.” He also called the path “a crossroads of the trail system” at groundbreaking ceremony on Monday.
However, our Breakfast Flakes are not so excited about the new bike path, and are pretty upset that the $621,535 project was paid for with federal funds. Play the audio below to hear the rant. You can learn more about the project here.
