165 New Laws Take Effect in Montana Today, Oct. 1

Today is Oct. 1, and in Montana 165 new laws go into place, 165.

Do we really need all of those new laws ? How many have we taken off the books?

One in place is the 80 mph speed limit on certain sections of the interstates. Keep in mind though that it is 65 mph on I-90 near Billings. Why?

It's 75 mph the whole way driving by Bozeman. I think officials just want you to have more time to look around so you may stop and spend money.
