I'm sad to say that I was not able to attend Sir Elton John's final Billings performance. I really wanted to make it, but it was one of those times where life just didn't cooperate. Now I'm hearing nothing but rave reviews from my friends who went. I'm happy for them, but it does kind of rub it in a bit.

There were a lot of people who paid hundreds for good seats and I can't help but wonder if they feel it was worth it. Being in the radio business, I do occasionally get some free concert tickets, often with the trade-off of doing some sort of work at the show. Because of this, I have yet to pay more than $50 for a concert ticket, so I'm still a bit shocked when I see seats advertised for hundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars. There is just no one that I like that much.
