Flakesgiving 2012 is underway, with the completion of Day One we are ready for to hand out some Thanksgiving meals!

As most of you know, today was our "prep day" and thanks to all of our volunteers we now have 1500 Turkey dinners ready to be delivered and picked up tomorrow at the Metra.

Deliveries will start to roll out around 10:00am, those requests have already been filled and we are not accepting anymore. If you would like to come by and pick up a meal please plan to be at the Metra at 12:00pm sharp. Anyone is welcome to a meal, no questions asked, but it is first come - first served.

Most importantly though Paul and I want to give a big THANK YOU to all the volunteers who came out today to help us with the food assembly. We had a ton of great help from several different high schools and organizations that came out and bared the cold weather to lend us a hand in assembling the meals.

We were able to assemble 1500 meals in a little under two hours thanks to all of you! You might be asking yourself, "How could they do that so quickly?"

Our photographer was on site to help us document the occasion, he got some great photos that we wanted to share with all of you.

Day Two - Distribution

On Saturday we distributed 1500 Turkey dinners to our Billings community. We had an army of Drivers who volunteered their time and gas to distribute meals to the people unable to come out to Metra Park. We also had volunteers on site to help us distribute the remaining meals to all the people who came out to pickup their meals.

Paul and I are extremely proud to see all of the support we received from all of you. Thank you to all of you who came out to help us make this another highly successful Flakesgiving.

Here are some great photos from Day Two.
