Only An Idiot Would Keep Driving Up a Snow Covered Road That’s Been Closed For Months

One of the big stories this morning was the Wisconsin couple who had to be rescued after getting trapped on Beartooth Pass.  Now the media has turned them into sympathetic figures.  "Oh, those poor people.  Trapped on a deserted mountain.  What a horrifying ordeal."  Stories like this are why the Flakes have little patience for stupidity.

Nobody should feel sorry for that couple.  They ignored the clearly posted road signs, on a pass that's been closed since September.  They continued travelling up the deserted pass.  Even if they didn't see the signs, did they ever stop to wonder why nobody else was on the road?  Nope, they just kept on going.  Driving through drifts of snow until they eventually trapped themselves.  These people are not victims, they're idiots.
