Here's a delightful holiday story.  This morning, the Flakes discussed the Christmas Lights Gestapo in California.  The city of Santa Ana has ordered residents of the Wagon Wheel Neighborhood to take down their Christmas light displays.

Evidently, some of the Christmas lights have been hung on steel cables and city officials are concerned that they may pose a safety hazard.  Now, the homeowners are up in arms.  Many of them are refusing to take down their lights.  The city responded by warning homeowners that failure to take down their Christmas displays may result in criminal charges.

Throwing people in jail over Christmas lights?  Only in California.  In fairness, Mark and Paul do think that people who leave their lights up until April should be prosecuted.
