Weird Wednesday: What’s Your Favorite Old TV Show?

The Flakes' Weird Wednesday topic was a throwback to the good ole days when everyone had 3 channels, but for some reason, the shows were just better.  Mark and Paul opened up the phones and asked listeners to call in with their favorite tv program of all time.

A bunch of people called in to talk about The Waltons, which Paul considers to be one of the greatest family oriented shows ever.  We had several calls about "Gilligan's Island".  And, of course, there were a few calls for the "Beverly Hillbillies", which got the Flakes thinking about Ellie May Clampett, one of the most gorgeous women in television history.

One of Mark's favorite shows was "Hogan's Heroes", which we got some calls for.  And there were some obscure shows mentioned that we almost forgot about, like "Nightstalker" and "Flipper"

Although we got one vote for the "Big Bang Theory", we didn't hear a lot of people talking about new shows.  They just don't make 'em like they used to.  After counting up all the calls and e-mails, the biggest vote-getter of the morning was MASH.  Which was a great show.
