Luke Bryan, Hillary Scott and more country acts have earned nominations for the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. Nominees for the May awards show were revealed on Monday morning (April 10).

Bryan received nods for the all-genre Billboard Chart Achievement Award and in the Top Country Tour category; he's competing in the former against Nicki Minaj, the Chainsmokers and more, and in the latter category against Kenny Chesney and the Dixie Chicks. Scott and her family, together as Hillary Scott & the Scott Family, are nominated for Top Christian Album and Top Christian Song; Joey + Rory also received a Top Christian Album nomination.

Other country artists nominated for Billboard Music Awards in 2017 include Florida Georgia Line (Top Duo / Group, Top Country Artist, Top Country Album, Top Country Song, Top Country Collaboration), Chris Stapleton (Top Country Artist, Top Country Album) and Little Big Town (Top Country Song). A complete list of country nominees is below, and a full list of 2017 Billboard Music Awards nominees is available on the Billboard website.

Nominees for the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, according to Billboard, were selected based on "key fan interactions with music" between March 18, 2016, and March 16, 2017. Those metrics include album and digital songs sales, streaming, radio airplay, touring and engagement on social media, all of which are tracked by Billboard, Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound.

The 2017 Billboard Music Awards are scheduled to take place on May 21 and air on ABC beginning at 8PM ET.
