‘Girls’ Season 3 Trailer: Who Is Hannah Horvath?

Where yesterday we saw ‘Girls‘ season 3 teased out in GIF form, the full trailer for the 2014 return of Hannah Horvath and co. is at long last upon us. Bikinis, Brooklyn and fat-free muffins of sociopathic detachment await, so take a look at what Lena Dunham has come up with for ‘Girls ‘season 3!
Though the new trailer certainly won’t convince any ‘Batman’ fans of Adam Driver as a fit for Nightwing, the latest look at ‘Girls’ season 3 places a strong emphasis on his character, newly reunited with Hannah after the events of season 2 finale “Together.” Jessa has returned as well, though few seem to have minded her absence, while Shoshannah continually attempts to sort out her life, and Marnie reels from Charlie’s absence.
“I don’t hate your friends, I’m just not interested in anything they have to say,” says Driver at one point. Hannah fires back, “I’m not interested in anything they have to say! That’s not the point of friendship!” Been there, buddy.
So far, we know of ‘Girls’ season 3 that the expanded run of 12 episodes will likely see at least one of the characters entering rehab, while Andrew Rannells’ Elijah will return as a regular in season 4. Jon Hamm‘s wife Jennifer Westfeldt has been observed filming on the set, while Michael Zegen (‘Boardwalk Empire‘) has been announced in an unknown role, along with ‘Orange Is the New Black‘ star Danielle Brooks. Other guest stars include ‘Doctor Who‘ star Richard E. Grant, ‘Crystal Fairy’ star Gabby Hoffmann, ‘The To Do List‘ star Sarah Steele and ‘Zero Hour‘ star Amir Arison.
