Ever wonder what a week in the life of Yellowstone County deputies is really like? The latest sheriff’s report paints a vivid picture, and it’s not all headline-grabbing crime. Deputies respond to everything from high-stakes cases and warrants to routine traffic stops, disputes, and the everyday calls where someone just needs a hand.

For the week of February 2 through February 8, 2026, the Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office handled 496 calls for service, made 14 arrests, and completed 286 case reports. Some involved more serious community safety concerns, others were routine issues, but all reflect the constant mix of big and small calls happening across the community every single week.
