Montana & Wyoming Girl Scout Cookie Season Starts January 30
You can practically set your calendar by it: right about the time winter starts to feel a little long in Montana and Wyoming, the unmistakable sound of cookie boxes sliding across card tables returns. Yes... Girl Scout Cookie season is almost here.
Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming officially kick things off January 30, when thousands of local Scouts start putting their sales pitches and their entrepreneurial chops to work. For the girls, it’s more than cookies. It’s goal-setting, math practice, people skills, confidence… and yes, a great excuse for the rest of us to stockpile Thin Mints in the freezer.

A new year brings a new cookie!
And this year, there’s a brand-new recruit in the lineup. Say hello to Exploremores, a rocky-road-inspired sandwich cookie stuffed with chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted-almond flavored crème. It’s basically a campfire and a road trip packed into a cookie, which feels very on-brand for the Girl Scouts.
Alongside the newcomer, you’ll still find all the legends: Thin Mints®, Caramel deLites®, Peanut Butter Patties®, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Trefoils, Adventurefuls, Lemonades, and the gluten/allergen-friendly Caramel Chocolate Chip. Boxes will run $6, with the gluten-free option at $7.

Every dollar stays local. Cookie sales fuel troop activities, community service projects, camp experiences, and travel, the kind of stuff kids remember forever.
How to snag your cookies this year.
- Pre-orders: Jan. 30 – Feb. 15 (delivery expected in late March)
- Cookie Booths: March 20 – April 12, located around local stores and community spots.
