John Ostlund, a respected and longtime Yellowstone County Commissioner, died Thursday afternoon in a single-engine plane crash south of Billings. Ostlund had served as a Yellowstone County Commissioner since 2003. He was in the final stretch of his fourth term, marking more than 20 years of dedicated service.
