I've always had a soft spot for Boxers and when our featured Wet Nose Wednesday pet came through our studio doors today, I quickly fell in love with this dog. He's got a strange name - Ghost Page - but he is a total sweetheart and he's ready to adopt now at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter in Billings, MT.

Ghost Page (again... an interesting name choice that you could easily change) was found by a Billings resident, who brought him to YVAS. Sadly, Ghost Page had no tags or microchip and whoever owned him has not come forward. He arrived at the shelter on New Year's Eve.

Boxers can have a reputation for being a little hyper, but Ghost Page defies that stereotype. He is so chill and calm. Derek Wulf, Humane Outreach Coordinator at YVAS said the Ghost Page behaved like a perfect gentleman on the drive over. He likely does well with other pets and respectful children.

This guy loves to snuggle.

A medium-sized dog (around 50 pounds) Ghost Page has those always-sad-looking Boxer eyes, that practically force you to give him a treat. He's a bit on the thin side, so plenty of treats and quality dog food will have him filled out in no time.

We can't imagine that Ghost Page will last long at the shelter, so if you're ready to adopt this handsome, red-coated pooch, don't delay. You can browse all of the current inventory of pets at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter HERE.

Big thanks to Shipton's Big R for supporting animal adoption in the Billings area.
