Today, the Breakfast Flakes opened up the show with a discussion about gas prices.  There's a reason why we're paying less than $3 a gallon at the pump.  For the first time, the United States is now producing more oil than we import.  And it's growing.

That's the good news.  The bad news is, it's not growing nearly as fast as it could.  Mark pointed out, we haven't built a new refinery in America since the early 70's.  However, he's noticed a lot of expansion up at the refinery in Great Falls.  Paul explained that a lot of that expansion is due all of the regulations on diesel production.

Now, if we could only get that pipeline built, maybe these insanely high gas prices will finally be a thing of the past.
