A whitetail doe somehow got trapped upside down in a narrow trench on a homeowner's property near Plains. A quick-thinking neighbor did what any good Montana neighbor would do, and helped rescue the frightened creature.

The county has been working on our road hauling gravel and all the truck drivers wave when I pass them. It's nice to live in a place that is this neighborly

This is what I walked into this morning. Not exactly tragic, right? I've seen pictures from many in our area who have much bigger problems due to last night's storm.
