Yesterday, Mark was driving down Montana Avenue and all three lanes of traffic were open approaching 27th Street. In the words of James Taylor, "I've seen fire and I've seen rain".

Could this mean that the parking garage they've been working on for years is finally complete?  Let's not get ahead ourselves, now.  But it does look like there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

Paul joked that he has children who've never seen all three lanes of traffic open on Montana.  For them, it's a new world that they never dreamed could actually exist.

Seriously, they've been working on that parking garage so long that we can't actually remember when they started.  Of course, we've never built a parking garage, but let's face it, they weren't exactly in a hurry.  Paul is convinced that his ranch hands could have built it in a month.  Mark tried to be diplomatic, pointing out that the construction crew works hard.  Then, he thought about it for a minute and realized that wasn't true.

Who knows when the parking garage will actually open.  But at least one of the city's busiest intersections will fewer traffic jams.  Until the train rolls through, that is.
