Here’s a story that sure to piss you off. There is a former special education teacher at a Billings middle school and she has pleaded guilty twice and twice received deferred sentences for fraudulently obtaining prescription pain medication. Now this teacher of our students has pleaded guilty to five felony charges.

Koby Gayle Murray was in court yesterday and appeared before District Judge Gregory Todd and guess what? She pleaded guilty to three counts of fraudulently obtaining prescription drugs, a possession of dangerous drugs and also tampering with or fabricating evidence.

The first charges came in 2007 when she was trying to obtain pain medications without a prescription. The case ended with a deferred prosecution agreement and she returned to teaching in the fall of 2008. In July 2012, Murray was charged again…really? She reached a deferred prosecution agreement in May and then tested positive for drugs again in June.  So at what point does this teacher get fired?  How would you feel if this was your child?

This loser appeared before District Judge Gregory Todd on Tuesday and pleaded guilty to three counts of fraudulently obtaining prescription drugs, possession of dangerous drugs and tampering with or fabricating evidence.

Hope she can get the day off for her sentencing. It is set for Oct. 22.
