Carrie Underwood's son Isaiah recently turned 2, and the country superstar says she and her husband have no set plans for when they might expand their family.

"We're on God's good timing or whatever you might call it," she tells Entertainment Tonight of having a second child with Nashville Predators centerman Mike Fisher. "I'm just trying to figure out where life's going to take me next."

Underwood posted some sweet photos from Isaiah's second birthday party on Feb. 27, and she's been spending plenty of time with him recently after taking some time off to recharge following her hugely successful Storyteller album and tour. She's shared all kinds of adorable content via Instagram in recent months, including a video of Isaiah singing with her, a sweet father/son moment and his first horseback ride.

She says he hasn't exactly been pushing her for a little brother or sister.

"As a matter of fact," she tells ET, "if a dog climbs up on my lap, I feel like he gets a little jealous of the dog!"

Underwood recently left her longtime label home at Sony and signed a new record deal with Capitol Records in Nashville. She's been working on writing songs for her next album, for which no firm timeline has been announced.

"The creative process is an interesting thing," she says. "You never know when it's all just going to come together and then you'll finally be able to be like, 'I'm done! Wow, we've made an album.' So I'm kind of at the beginning stages of that, which is really fun."
