A new lawsuit has been filed seeking equal rights for married LGBT couples. The ACLU of Montana filed its amended complaint on behalf of seven gay couples yesterday.  This isn’t the first time they have filed. The Montana Supreme Court rejected its first lawsuit in December, saying it was too broad and didn't identify specific laws that are discriminatory. So they are giving it another shot.  We’ll see how it goes.

The ACLU believes that LGBT people should, like everyone else, have the freedoms that everyone else has…that means building meaningful personal, intimate relationships without risking that their families will be disregarded, endangered or even harmed by the state. And really don’t we all want that?

What do you, the listener's think?
