Garth Brooks will play one show in North and South Carolina during his cross-country tour of college and NFL stadiums. In May 2020, the new CMA Entertainer of the Year will hope to fill up Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.

The stadium is the home to the NFL's Carolina Panthers, but has hosted a very select group of performers since 1996, including the Rolling Stones, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw and coming soon, Billy Joel. Brooks' Carolina tour date will be May 2 at 7PM. Tickets go on sale Dec. 6 at 10AM ET through Ticketmaster and will cost $94.95, including taxes and fees.

A Feb. 22 date in Detroit, Mich., is the only other date on Brooks' 2020 tour calendar thus far, although he shared with Taste of Country that he'll continue the Dive Bar Tour of small clubs into 2020, as well. He's played 11 stadiums already, starting with Notre Dame University's football stadium in Oct. 2018. It's not clear how long he'll continue to play stadiums or if he'll venture outside the United States anytime soon. The show features an in-the-round stage that allows him to play to all sides of the audience.

Musically Brooks may have a new album available in 2020, but since sharing that Fun would be its title, he's said very little about the project. "Dive Bar" is the current radio single. The rowdy bar anthem features Blake Shelton and a music video that finds his band playing in scuba gear underwater.

Brooks' win for Entertainer of the Year at the 2019 CMA Awards was his seventh — a record in country music.
