Here’s Why You Should Learn the Heimlich
On this morning's show, I talked about Scott Fine, who works at Montana' Rib & Chop House.
A customer was choking and Scott came to the rescue, performing the Heimlich maneuver on this man and was able to get him breathing.
I've needed saving twice in my life. Once at a remote Paul and I were doing, I was choking on a giant chunk of rib meat, so Paul punched me in the stomach. Boom! Meat flew out and I could breathe.
Another time, Tom Fox, who was a firefighter at the time, gave me the Heimlich and freed the meat from my throat and got me breathing.
So, two things I'd like you to know.
1. Learning the proper technique is quick and easy to learn.
2. I chew my food up a little better these days.
