Castle Rock Invites You To Playground Ribbon Cutting In Billings
In a big win for the Billings community, especially those living in the West Wicks Lane part of town, tomorrow is a grand celebration and ribbon-cutting event for the new Castle Rock Playground!
A Brand New Playground For All
Tomorrow, July 6th, at 10 AM the celebration will be held at Castle Rock Park on W. Wicks Lane, just south of the spray grounds.
Billings Parks and Recreation have noted they plan to have special guests in attendance.
Following the ceremony, families are welcome to enjoy the new playground.
Also, to mark the grand opening of this new playground, Billings Parks & Rec's newest program, Rec2U will be available, along with the Billings Public Library Bookmobile and the Altana FCU Ice Cream Van.
What does this playground offer?
Featuring a "nature-play" design, with integrated landscaping, Castle Rock Playground offers the TALLEST play structure at 33 feet tall. It also includes a play structure for kids ages 2 through 5... a 90 FOOT LONG Zipline... Rope Climb... and rock climbing elements!
(As a kid a heart, that zipline is calling my name. Though, my doctor may like a word or two before I do that...)
