Support Local 4-H Clubs with Fresh Fruit Purchases

If you’re craving some fresh, delicious fruit and want to support a great cause, Yellowstone County 4-H has you covered. Starting this week, members from 25 local 4-H clubs are kicking off their annual fruit sale, offering top-quality produce that’s perfect for snacking or baking.

Available fruits include U.S. #1 Navel oranges, Washington Gala, Granny Smith apples, Fuji apples, Texas Red grapefruit, and D’Anjou pears. Each 20-pound box is just $40, and all proceeds go directly to supporting 4-H programs in the community. The deadline to place your order is Friday, February 21, and deliveries will arrive the second weekend of March.

Not only does this fundraiser bring fresh fruit to your doorstep, but it also provides essential funding for 4-H activities. Proceeds help cover the cost of project manuals, workshops, clinics, scholarships, and even summer camps.

They also sponsor members attending state, regional, and national events, and support award programs and citizenship experiences. In short, your purchase helps Yellowstone County youth develop valuable life skills like communication and leadership.
