This ‘Stanley’ is Far Better Than a Mug. He’s Ready to Adopt in Billings
Billings' featured Wet Nose Wednesday Pet this week is Stanley.
He may share his namesake with the outrageously popular coffee mug that is the must-have accessory for those who consider an insulated cup made by a tool company a status symbol... but in our opinion, this Stanley is far better than a mug.
Stanley is a three-year-old Shar Pei mix.
This timid, medium-sized dog is very sweet. He loves other dogs and people but is somewhat shy. Not much is known about his background before he came to the shelter (he was abandoned) but he appears relatively well cared for, with a silky, midnight black coat and beautiful dark brown eyes. Clearly mixed with another breed, he retains a few of those Shar Pei wrinkles and the trademark short, folded ears of the popular Chinese dog.

Update on our 11/15 Wet Nose Wednesday dog, Cocoa Puff
Sometimes shelter pets get adopted quickly, and others take a little longer to find their forever home. We learned this week that our featured dog from two weeks ago is still waiting for a new human to take her home. The two-year-old bully mix is super sweet. Check her out on the link below. You can browse all of the pets currently available for adoption at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter HERE.
