Minnesota Fraud and Montana’s Max Baucus Gets Scrubbed
How did radical Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) end up being worth millions in just one year?
We told you recently how former Democrat Senator Max Baucus (D-MT), yeah- the guy who sold us out to China, was connected with Ilhan Omar's husband's company. Well now, they've apparently scrubbed his name off of the company website after questions started being raised about how Ilhan Omar's wealth skyrocketed so significantly in just one year.
This, of course, comes as the Somali community and Democrats as a whole in Minnesota are under fire for what they now think is at least $8 billion in welfare fraud exposed by the incredible young investigative journalist Nick Shirley.
The National Legal Policy Center highlighted the key portion in a recent New York Post story highlighting Baucus' connection to Ilhan Omar and how his name was recently scrubbed from the company website.
NLPC: "The explosion of the Somali fraud scandal in Minnesota, Omar’s links to the fraudsters, and the staggering amounts of taxpayer money involved, raise a whole new set of questions."
Here's the excerpt from The New York Post:
Between September and October — when federal prosecutors announced charges to eight more individuals, including six of Somali descent, for their roles in the welfare scheme — the names and bios of Rose Lake Capitals’s nine officers and advisors were removed from the website. None of them were charged in the fraud.
These names include lobbyist and former Obama Ambassador to Bahrain Adam Ereli; former Senator and Obama Ambassador to China Max Baucus; DNC Finance Chair associate Alex Hoffman; former DNC treasurer William Derrough and former ex-CEO of Amalgamated Bank Keith Mestrich, who once described Amalgamated as “the institutional bank of the Democratic Party.”
By the way, Montana's US Senator Tim Sheehy (R-MT) weighed in via X on the Minnesota fraud scandal (separate from the Baucus story): "Democrats lecture the nation about affordability and abundance…they certainly made life affordable for Somali daycare providers with an abundance of taxpayer cash!"
